Adaptive Skills Training
Adaptive Skills Training (AST) provides one-to-one individualized services to adults with developmental disabilities who choose this type of program or who cannot attend traditional site-based programs in the community.
The goal of our AST program is to provide structured skill development and help the individuals we serve achieve their goals and preferred futures. Services are individually individualized to meet the needs of every unique client. As a result, the number of services hours and times of services may vary and can be easily tailored to meet the client where they are.

Our program is overseen by an Omelagah, Inc. employee with a Masters Degree in one of the following fields: education, psychology, counseling, nursing, social work, applied behavior analysis, behavioral medicine, speech and language, or rehabilitation; and with at least one year of experience in the design and implementation of adaptive skills training plans.
